These years are a period of rapid development and transition as students start envisioning their adult roles. The Secondary School Programme at RFS, Lodhivali consolidates students’ knowledge and supports them to study each subject in greater detail, developing them into independent learners and confident individuals. The students are encouraged to channelize their interests in learning for future.

  • In classes IX and X, the curriculum consists of main subjects and two languages ( English, Hindi / Sanskrit )
  • Student council members are elected from these sections. Leadership activities help students become self-assured and successful leaders of tomorrow.
  • This system nurtures a sense of belonging amongst students as they put their best foot forward and compete with their peers. The young electorate cast their vote online to elect the student council, giving them the first experience of democracy.
  • Curriculum follows NCERT syllabus which is supplemented by laboratory experiments, project work and investigatory projects, environment related projects with more emphasis on inter-disciplinary projects to develop logical, analytical and reasoning skill.
  • Pre-board Exams are conducted at regular intervals to help students overcome exam anxiety.
  • Students also take various competitive exams like Olympiad – Cyber, Maths , Science , Green etc. to keep abreast of learning goals and close the gaps.
  • Career counselling sessions are organised to expose students to various existing and upcoming career options in India as well as abroad.
  • Reference books, articles, magazines, and journals in Library prepare students for Board Exams and various competitive exams.
  • Easy access to multimedia through use of digital smart board in classrooms has made understanding of concepts and facts simpler and more engaging.
  • In programme like SEWA, students mentor middle school students help to inculcate values like empathy, compassion, responsibility etc.
  • Students get opportunities to apply their IT knowledge while preparing inter-house quizzes, presentations, school annual function, online school voting etc.
  • School provides a preparatory field for students to explore higher educational goals.
