RFSLEM Honoured with National Recognition for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Excellence

RFSLEM is proud to announce that it has been recognised and awarded as a School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Excellence at the School Youth Ideathon (SYI) 2025—a prestigious national-level initiative aligned with NEP 2020, organised by ThinkStartup in collaboration with CBSE and MEPSC. From over 2 lakh ideas submitted nationwide, RFSLEM students submitted 45 projects, out of which 17 were shortlisted among the Top 2000 and 6 advanced to the Top 500, placing the school among India’s leading innovators.
Following a rigorous interview round, one of our project — Khel Kaushal — was selected among the Top 125 projects at the National level.
This esteemed recognition reflects our sustained commitment to building a future-ready learning ecosystem that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurial mindsets among students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to RIL PG Site Leadership, RFSAC, and Respected Joy Sir for their visionary guidance, inspiration, mentoring, and unwavering support, which have been instrumental in shaping this journey of excellence.
This milestone stands as a testament to the dedication and collective spirit of our students, mentors, teachers, school community, and management. It reaffirms our belief in empowering young minds to transform ideas into impact.

RFSLEM Among India’s Leading Young Innovators - School Youth Ideathon (SYI) 2025

RFSLEM marked a proud milestone at the School Youth Ideathon (SYI) 2025, a national initiative aligned with NEP 2020 and organised by ThinkStartup in collaboration with CBSE and MEPSC. Our project, Khel Kaushal, progressed through a rigorous interview round to secure a place among the Top 125 projects at the national level. Khel Kaushal is a mobile-based skill training application designed for rural and underprivileged youth, offering hands-on virtual training in trades such as mobile repair, electrical work, solar installation, and appliance servicing, supported by QR-based, employer-verifiable skill certificates. This achievement reflects RFSLEM’s strong culture of innovation, creativity, and real-world problem-solving, empowering students to transform ideas into meaningful social impact.

School Youth Ideathon (SYI) 2025

RFSLEM made a powerful mark at the School Youth Ideathon (SYI) 2025, where young ideas turned into purposeful solutions aligned with the vision of NEP 2020. SYI is a national platform nurturing young innovators across India organized by ThinkStartup in collaboration with CBSE and MEPSC. From 45 ideas submitted by our young innovators, 17 were shortlisted among the Top 2000 nationally, and 6 advanced to the Top 500, placing the school among the country’s leading innovators. Regional Level CBSE Skill Expo 2025

We are extremely proud to share that our team of budding innovators, Navi Jha and Devansh Gupta of class XI, has secured the first position at the Regional Level CBSE Skill Expo 2025. Guided by the vision of the School Innovation Council, the team presented a highly impactful and functional prototype titled "Breathable Air Node at Traffic Signals. Powered by sustainable energy and built with a reusable modular design, the system remains entirely self-sustaining even at high-pollution hotspots. Its mission is simple yet urgent—to purify the air before it reaches our lungs.

Eco Harvest Innovators Shine at National Innovation Challenge 2025

Our young innovators from Class IX – Yashvi Porwal, Adineatha Kanoje, and Tanmayee Ghumade under the mentorship of Ms Athira Babu – proudly represented RFSLEM at the Grand Finale of Heroes of Tomorrow 2025, held at BML Munjal University, Gurgaon. Heroes of Tomorrow 2025, a national-level Innovation & Entrepreneurship Challenge, provides a unique platform for young minds to transform bold ideas into meaningful impact.

Their project, DynoPiezo Power Ramp, converts speed breakers into mini power stations using piezoelectric discs and dynamo systems to generate electricity for street lights and traffic signals. The team was highly appreciated for its innovation, design, and sustainability, and was encouraged to explore government collaboration for further implementation.

This remarkable achievement reflects our school’s commitment to creativity, scientific thinking, and impactful learning.

National Level Achievement at Cyber Surakshit Bharat 2025

Students of RFSLEM earned national recognition at the Cyber Surakshit Bharat – National Competitions 2025, conducted by CBSE and the Ministry of Electronics & IT (ISEA Initiative), showcasing their commitment to digital responsibility and cyber awareness.

The impactful Nukkad Natak by Class IX students won the National First Prize for its compelling message on cyber safety, securing a ₹5,000 cash award and certificates. Saumya Pandit (Class XI – Science) also made the school proud by winning the State-Level Prize in Reel Making, earning ₹2,000 and a certificate. The award ceremony took place at NFSU, Gandhinagar, Gujrat in a grand way on 28th November 2025.

We are delighted to announce that our senior team of young scientists, Navi Jha and Devansh Gupta of Class XI Science, has secured the First Position at the Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition 2025.

Guided by their Physics teacher, Ms Mrunalini Deshmukh, the team presented an impressive working prototype titled AirSense: Smart Air Quality Monitoring and Pollution Mitigation System. Far beyond a simple model, their innovation demonstrated real-world application, technological depth, and scientific rigor.

Their outstanding performance has earned the school a place at the National Level for the second consecutive year, a testament to our consistent excellence and commitment to nurturing scientific talent.

Design Championship 2025: International Triumph for Young Innovators!

Students of RFSLEM made their mark at the Design Championship 2025 – International Level, an event organized by ICT 360, India’s biggest national platform that nurtures young talent and celebrates creativity across digital domains.
India’s largest online international design competition for students aged 6–16.
• 17 teams (35 students from Classes 2–11) participated in categories including App Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, Coding and Movie Making.
• Our students excelled in the West Zone Regional Jury Round, winning top positions in Movie Making, Graphic Design, and Coding.
• At the National Jury Round, held on 16th October 2025, our teams represented the school with confidence and skill.

Achievement in Indian Young Physicists’ Tournament (INYPT) 2025

It is with great pride and pleasure that we announce our student Sukhada Hore’s brilliant achievement in a very prestigious Indian Young Physicists’ Tournament (INYPT) 2025. She bagged AIR 3 in the grand finale. Unlike most traditional Olympiads which are exam-based and time-bound, INYPT is centered around open-ended research problems. Participants are assigned one of 17 real-world physics phenomena months in advance and are expected to conduct thorough research, design and carry out experiments, develop theoretical models, and analyse data. The final round takes the shape of Physics Fights—scientific debates where participants present their findings, oppose others’ work, and engage in rigorous academic discourse.

Annual Contest on Glass Decorates 2024

It gives us immense pleasure and pride to announce that one of our class X students Devang Dalvi bagged Third position in Annual Contest on Glass Decorates organized by All India Glass Manufacturers’ Federation (AIGMF) at Delhi to commemorate International Youth Day. The entries were invited from the youth between 7-24 years of age from schools and colleges across India. Devank received a cash prize of Rs. 10000/- and a certificate.

Students of RFSLEM participated in the prestigious Queen's Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition 2024. The competition, which draws entries from across the Commonwealth nations, provided a platform for young minds to express their thoughts and creativity. The essays were submitted in May 2024, and the results were officially announced on 20th September 2024.

Achievement in Under-7 Chess Tournament

The school is delighted to announce the remarkable achievement of our UKG student, Vihaan Vaidya, at the Under-7 Chess Tournament organized by the Rotary Club of Karjat on September 1, 2024.

Competing against a field of 100 talented young chess players from across Raigad district, Vihaan's exceptional skills and determination shone through. In his age group alone, he faced tough competition from 16 other participants.

Despite this, Vihaan displayed remarkable composure and strategic thinking, winning three consecutive rounds out of four. His impressive performance secured him a well-deserved second-place finish in his maiden tournament.

This achievement is a testament to Vihaan's dedication, hard work, and unwavering passion for the game of chess.

Adobe's GIF Creativity Challenge 2024

Shree Nitin Kale, a student of Class 5A, has achieved remarkable success in Adobe's 78th Independence Day GIF Creativity Challenge. This was the second challenge under Adobe's Student Program, which provides a platform for young talents to explore their creativity by designing unique digital projects.

Out of numerous entries from students across various schools, Shree Nitin Kale's project stood out, earning him a place among the top 5 winners. His innovative approach and artistic execution impressed the judges and showcased his exceptional skills.

This achievement highlights Shree Nitin Kale's artistic talent and dedication to creative pursuits. It also reflects the potential of young learners to excel in digital design and animation, preparing them for a future where digital tools play an increasingly vital role.

Adding another feather to our cap, Ankur Mhamunkar of Class VII demonstrated remarkable creativity by participating in the Design Your Smart City using Adobe Express event. His innovative approach and thoughtful design earned him a well-deserved digital badge, highlighting his talent and dedication. Ankur's achievement reflects his ability to think critically and creatively, envisioning a future-ready smart city.

Ridhaa Hamirani, a tenth-grade student with a passion for public speaking and debate, enthusiastically participated in the Mumbai Speech and Debate League. This renowned event, organized by the Indian Debating League and IIT Bombay Debating Society, provided an exceptional platform for young debaters to showcase their skills. Ridhaa, along with her talented teammates, engaged in the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) that took place on July 13th, 2024. The competition spanned three rounds, and despite encountering a setback in the second round, Ridhaa's team emerged victorious in the first and third rounds. Impressively, Ridhaa herself excelled by securing the highest individual score among all participating teams, a testament to her exceptional debating prowess.

The 13th training session of the pilot program, organized by CIET NCERT

The 13th training session of the pilot program, organized by CIET NCERT in collaboration with Adobe India, focused on integrating technology and creativity in teaching vocational subjects using Adobe Express AI features.

Prashik Tayade, a graphic design expert from Reliance Foundation School Lodhivali English Medium, conducted the session, explaining the basics of graphic design and demonstrating the use of Adobe Express AI features such as text-to-image generation and the Brand feature.

The interactive session received positive feedback from participating teachers, who appreciated the integration of technology and creativity in vocational education.

Prashik plans to share his learnings with colleagues and students, fostering a more creative and technologically advanced approach to teaching vocational subjects. This training session is part of a series aimed at making the teaching and learning process easier and more conducive.

He expressed gratitude to the RFSAC leadership team, RF school leadership, CIET NCERT, Adobe India, and Adobe for their support and the opportunity to contribute to educational advancements.

Science Fiction Competition 2023

RFSL-EM proudly celebrates the achievement of G. Srivani of Class X, whose science fiction has been selected for publishing in the July edition of Science Reporter. She participated in the Science Fiction Competition 2023 organized by Science Reporter– a monthly Science magazine published by the National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR), Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, to unlock creativity among young aspiring students. Along with the winning entries, her story Fates Intertwined has been appreciated and found worth publishing by the magazine.

The story Fates Intertwined is about Zaraq, a Xyloth from Xylothia, who observes Earth's contradictions: its beauty marred by human destruction and hope. Disguised as a squirrel, he befriends Sarah, an environmentalist who dreams of harmony between humans and nature. Revealing his true form, Zaraq learns about human complexity and potential for change. He returns home, hopeful that humanity will choose to protect their precious planet.

Outstanding performance by RFSL-EM students in JEE Advanced 2024

We are super excited to share that students of Reliance Foundation School Lodhivali (English Medium) have brought glory to their institution once again with a stellar performance in JEE (ADVANCED) 2024. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has announced the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 on, June 9, 2024.

Rising to the occasion Yalamarty Hamsini, Kshitij Paranjape, Vijit Deogade and Siddharth Tiwari have brought laurels to the school by qualifying for the same.

Leading the charge, Yalamarthy Hamsini secured the top honour in the school with an impressive rank of 7392 whereas Kshitij Paranjape secured with an impressive rank of 7837 and Siddharth Tiwari secured rank of 24525. Another notable performer is Vijit Deogade with a rank of 2726 (Category).

This is in continuation of the School’s excellent and outstanding CBSE Board performance in Grades 10 and 12 in the CBSE-2024 Examination.

We congratulate the successful students for their exceptional academic achievement and praise their dedication and perseverance and extend our best wishes for their future endeavours.
