At the Higher Secondary level, the curriculum shifts its emphasis from general to core subject-focussed specialised content. At this stage, students are encouraged to explore their chosen disciplines in depth and with focussed academic rigour. They are supported to steadily work towards embarking on their career paths and encouraged to become independent and confident learners.

The curriculum focuses on subject based knowledge, conceptual understanding, application of processes and knowledge acquired and use of technology. The Programme focuses equally on achieving academic goals and developing a positive attitude to think logically with a problem-solving approach.
