Specialised Coaching in Sports

  • The School offers specialised coaching in Athletics, Table Tennis, Football, Basketball, and Badminton.
  • The aim of this programme is to enhance exposure to various sports and provide students with avenues to explore their talents and excel in a particular sport.
  • This programme instils in students the values of teamwork, fair play, sportsmanship, perseverance, self-discipline and self-confidence.
  • Students are trained by qualified and specialised coaches.
  • The coaches in these sports also work with the school teams and help them prepare for participation in district, divisional, state, regional and national level competitions.



Environmental and Social Responsibility

  • Sustainable development goals are integrated into the school curriculum to raise awareness among students of the opportunities to create local solutions, a readiness to come up with feasible solutions, and the organisational skills to implement these solutions in context.
  • Field trips to ecovillages and sewage treatment plants to show current and best practices.
  • Dedicated servers and drives for sharing electronic resources, whereby the need for printing is minimised, helping us to be an environmentally friendly school.
  • Promoting cleanliness and hygiene practices on the school campus to inculcate a sense of responsibility among the students.
  • The school actively engages in waste segregation practices and manages a compost pit, fostering an eco-conscious environment and teaching students the importance of responsible waste disposal.
  • Students of secondary and senior secondary schools take up projects under SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action), an endeavour by CBSE. Student-led community service initiatives include ecogreening efforts, Serve a Meal programme, participation in community clean-up endeavours, installation of bird feeders in gardens, promoting plastic awareness, conducting Swachhatha rallies, organising neighbourhood clean drives, and holding gratitude assemblies for the school's support staff.

School Innovation Council

  • The school has established an effective School Innovation Council, a Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) initiative implemented in collaboration with AICTE and CBSE.
  • The school's certified School Innovation Ambassadors have successfully completed the School Innovation Ambassador Training Program (SIATP), contributing to their skill development and enhancing their role within the School Innovation Council.
  • An integral part of the school, the School Innovation Council, has been established to champion innovation among both teachers and students. This cell provides a platform for students to showcase and evaluate their innovative ideas and projects through school-level competitions and events.
  • The school cultivates an entrepreneurial mindset through hands-on projects and various other initiatives. Consequently, some of the alumni have ventured into successful startups, highlighting the school's dedication to nurturing and supporting future entrepreneurs.

Students have also secured innovation and research grants ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹1,00,000 along with prestigious opportunities such as internships at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, participation in NCERTPRAYAS, Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani, and more.
