The School counsellor helps children cope with the emotional and psychological issues arising out of learning difficulties, academic challenges, behavioural management and peer pressure. The counsellor regularly consults and collaborates with teachers and parents to help resolve students' concern. Identifying the social and emotional issues of students, the counsellor advises appropriate interventions and preventive measures. Wherever required, the counsellor also provides referrals to concerned professionals outside the School. The counsellor also plays a key role in facilitating positive change in decision-making and improving life-skills of students.
