BizForHer National Final

KDARFS Team ‘Arête Dynamics’- comprising of Rohini Maji, Jill Vadaviya, and Yesha Bhatt, all Class 10 students- has qualified for the National Finals of BizForHer, a prestigious entrepreneurship and business case competition.
Under the mentorship of Ms. Jyoti Thakur, the team showcased their innovation and business acumen by presenting creative solutions on the theme ‘How Swiggy can increase profitability’ through a YouTube pitch. Their efforts have brought them to the national stage, where they will now compete for the top honours.
This year, the competition witnessed an overwhelming response with 750 entries from across the country. From these, only 50 schools advanced to the second round, and eventually just 11 teams were shortlisted for the finals — with Team Arête Dynamics making us proud as one of them.
The BizForHer competition is supported by reputed institutions including IIM Raipur, Wesleyan College, FLAME University, among others, adding to its prestige and credibility.

Microsoft Showcase School Award - 2025

KDARFS, Jamnagar has once again secured its place among a select group of trailblazing institutions worldwide by being named a Microsoft Showcase School for the third consecutive year.

National Science Seminar 2025 (District level)

KDARFS students participated in the District Level National Science Seminar 2025, held at M.D. Mehta Science Centre, Dhrol, competing against 67 schools from across the district.
Dhyey Akbari (Class 8) and Sagnik Das Sharma (Class 10) participated in the competition. Dhyey secured 1st position and will now represent the district at the State Level Seminar.

CBSE Sahodaya Inter-School Geeta Chanting Competition

KDARFS students came up with a superb performance in the Gita Shloka Chanting Competition organized by Sahodaya Saurashtra at Yagyavalkya Vidya Mandir, Porbandar.
The event aimed to promote students’ spiritual growth, enhance their memorization skills, and deepen their understanding of the teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. The competition was divided into three categories and the results are given below:

The Sahodaya Saurashtra Swimming Competition, organized by KDARFS showcased the swimming talents of 100 young swimmers from 9 schools in the region. The event was graced Mr. Kamal Pahwa, Site President, DTA Refinery & Petrochemicals Complex, RIL-JMD and Anvita Kackar, Principal of KDARFS.
KDARFS bagged the Overall Champions trophy with 336 points while NVN, Jamnagar bagged the Second position with 255 points

Loop AI (TIL-AI) project

Mrs. Mamata Nath, Mathematics teacher at KDARFS, has been selected as an Expert Teacher for Phase 2 of the Teacher in the Loop AI (TIL-AI) project.

CCPD, Regional Institute of Education, Bhopal

Ms. Swati Guha, HoD, English, has been selected for training as a Resource Person under the prestigious Certificate in Continuing Professional Development (CCPD) programme, conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Bhopal, a constituent unit of NCERT.
Out of approximately 350 candidates who appeared for the national-level entrance test, only 32 educators, including Ms. Guha qualified for the programme. She secured an impressive 85 marks (56 in the written test and 29 in the viva), reflecting her excellence and commitment to professional growth.
The CCPD programme is designed to enhance teaching competencies, focusing on effective classroom management, language assessment, and teacher development, aligned with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education.

CBSE Sahodaya Football Championship

The KDARFS Girls Under-17 Football Team secured the first place in the CBSE Sahodaya Football Competition, delivering an outstanding performance throughout the tournament.

The Sahodaya Saurashtra Yoga Championship, hosted by KDARFS,Jamnagar successfully showcased the flexibility and talent of young athletes from across the region. National Level Symposium (IIT, Gandhinagar)

Ms. Vaishali Ingle represented KDARFS at the 35th National Level Symposium held at IIT Gandhinagar 2025. She participated in the National Level Microscale Chemistry Experiments Competition. She was one among the 14 winners selected among 104 entries Gandhinagar, and presented her experiment in the Symposiun winning appreciation from everyone present.

National-level English Spell-bee competition

Aarav Kumar won the first prize in a National-level English Spell-bee competition organized by Spell Well India. The award was presented at a ceremony held at India International Centre, Delhi. The school congratulates Aarav on this outstanding achievement and his dedication to academic excellence.

School Innovation Contest

KDARFS team consisting of Divya Sharma and Yashvi Vachhrajani from Class 12, has been selected as winners of the School Innovation Contest 2-24-25. They have secured funding of Rs.1,50,000 from AICTE/MoE to develop the prototype and patenting. Their ground- breaking product, the Anti-Sleep Glasses integrated with software, will be showcased at the upcoming National-level exhibition during NEP Day celebrations in Delhi.

Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Reliance Foundation School has been honoured with the ‘Outstanding NEP & NCF Aligned School’ award at the TechEDU India Awards 2025.

Eureka Junior (final Pitch)

The E-cell of IIT Bombay recently organised E-Summit to encourage the entrepreneurship amongst the school & college students. Eureka Junior was organised for school students to present their innovative idea inform of a pre-revenue business model.

These students had previously attended the boot camp in the 1st week of December for 3 days along with 250 other participants. The concept was of ‘ReOIL’ where they showed how cooking oil can be recycled to produce eco-friendly products. The judges and audience were highly impressed and appreciated students' ability to identify real-world problems and propose effective solutions, making the presentation a great success.

Eureka Juniors (Entrepreneurship Olympiad)

KDARFS students, Prachi Patel (Class 9) and Soumya Prajapati (Class 10) were selected to participate Entrepreneurship Olympiad at IIT, Mumbai. They were mentored by Ms.Priyadarshani and Ms.Krina.

Teacher Mela

KDARFS Pre-Primary wing hosted a ‘Teacher Mela’, aimed at fostering collaborative learning and sharing of nnovative teaching practices through the presentation of Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs). Yashaswi Charak was selected to represent the Gujarat state at the SGFI National Championship in Ludhiana, Punjab in December. KDARFS has achieved another remarkable milestone as our girls' basketball team secured 3rd place in the prestigious SGFI State Level Basketball Championship, competing against 33 teams from across Gujarat. Our talented squad, comprising students from classes 6-8, demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, defeating formidable teams from Bharuch, Ahmedabad City, Anand, Baroda, and Rajkot Rural. The winning team includes Vedanshreeba Vaghela, Vedanshi Pandey, Aanvi Dwivedi, Darshita Kulkarni, Neva Agrawal, Siya Patel, Dakshee Rawat, and Heer Vyas.

School Ideation Challenge 2024

KDARFS students did commendably well in the ‘School Ideation Challenge contest organized by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell. The school made its presence felt with two teams making their way to the final round of the contest. The first team consisted of Stuti Mishra and Riddhi Gupta of Class 10 while the second team comprised of Somdyuti Mukherjee of Class 6 and Somaditya Mukherjee of Class 11. Both the teams made a strong pitch supporting their innovative ideas. The teams were mentored by Ms.Supriya Kaluvala and Ms.Swati Suman respectively In the earlier round, three more teams representing the school were selected. Mr.Manoj Pandey and Ms.Aishwarya Krishnamoorthy had mentored three different teams. Mr.Rahul Karya too had coached the students in creating business models of the concepts. Aayushee Patel, a KDARFS alumnus of the 2022-23 batch, etched her name in glory by clinching the 45th All India Rank (AIR) and a remarkable 7th position among female candidates in the NDA-2023. Alumni Achievement

Abhishek Baraiya, an alumnus of the 2019-20 batch, achieved remarkable success in his maiden attempt at the CAT examination. His outstanding performance resulted in an astounding 99.98 percentile, securing an anticipated All India Rank (AIR) within the bracket of 70. Notably, his achievement also positioned him as the second-highest percentile holder in Gujarat and the highest in Ahmedabad city, showcasing his exceptional prowess on a national scale.
During his time in school, Abhishek served as the Head Boy in 2018-19. He was also an active cadet of the school’s NCC Naval unit. His achievements are a testament to the school's nurturing environment and support. He is also a Gold Medallist till 3rd year and presently he is in last semester of B.Tech (Chemical) Nirma University-Ahmedabad.

Agrima Chandrakar of Class 5 showcased exceptional talent and dedication at the 31st National Children's Science Congress 2023. Her project, 'The Eco Experts,' exploring the theme 'Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Well-being,' emerged victorious at the state level, securing her a prestigious spot to represent Gujarat at the national competition. CBSE Cluster XIII Athletics Championship

KDARFS contingent consisting of 16 athletes participated in the CBSE Cluster XIII Athletics Championship held at Laxmi International School, Valsad Gujarat. The competition saw the participation of 1036 athletes from 76 schools. Inter-RFS MUN - 2023

KDARFS students showcased exceptional talent and dedication at the recently-held Inter Reliance Foundation School Model United Nations (MUN) 2023, held at Reliance Foundation School, Koperkhairane. The event saw the participation of seven RFS schools.
A total of 12 students from the school demonstrated their intellectual prowess and enthusiasm, thereby representing the school with commendable zeal. Their performance earned the school, ‘The Best Team Award’. Saket Bhatt of Class 11 and Kanak Upadhyaya of Class 9 were honoured with ‘Outstanding Delegate’ Award while Renuka Ingle of Class 10 received the ‘Best Delegate’ Award.

CBSE Sahodaya Inter-school Swimming Championship

KDARFS took the centre stage as hosts of the prestigious CBSE Sahodaya Saurashtra Swimming Championship 2023. This exhilarating sporting event marked an essential chapter in the school's commitment to fostering student talent and teamwork.

The event was inaugurated at the hands of Shri H. B. Trivedi, HR Head, RIL (JMD Cluster).
15 schools participated in this championship, making it a spirited competition. KDARFS fielded 26 enthusiastic participants who aimed to showcase their prowess in the pool.
The swimming championship featured an array of thrilling races, including 50m and 100m freestyle, 50m and 100m backstroke, 50m butterfly, and the 4x50m freestyle relay.
KDARFS emerged as the undisputed champions, amassing a remarkable 312 points. Nand Vidya Niketan, Jamnagar, secured the runner-up position with 102 points, and New Era Global School, Morbi, claimed the third spot with 67 points. The event culminated with the Prize Distribution at the hands of Brigadier Guruvinder Singh Sahota, Chief of Security Operations, RIL (JMD).
This championship not only celebrated the outstanding achievements of these young athletes but also emphasized the importance of teamwork, harmony, and cooperation among students. KDARFS, as both hosts and winners, proudly led the way in fostering a culture of excellence and sportsmanship in the region.

Gujarat Environment Management Institute (GEMI) Blog Writing Contest

Gujarat Environment Management Institute (GEMI) had organized an e-Contest on the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’. The topic for the contest was ‘Solution to Plastic Pollution’. Dhairya Shah of Class 10, secured 3rd position in ‘Blog Writing ‘and won a cash prize of 2500 rupees.

Inter-school State Karate Championship

Hetvi Bhardwa got the gold medal and Ashutosh Mahapatra won the silver medal in ISKU’s Inter-school State Karate Championship in Kumute [Fighting] at RAJKOT.

Akhil Bhartiya Hindi Olympiad

Devish Singhal of Class 10 distinguished himself by bagging the First position in school in the prestigious Akhil Bhartiya Hindi Olympiad. It is commendable that he was ranked 37th in Gujarat in the same exam.

Live National Child Contest

Rivaah Rajput of Class 1F participated in Live National Child Contest, organized by Child Dream Booster Hub. She bagged 2nd position in all four live contests (speech, poetry, story-telling, and singing), and also received the trophy of Super Winner.

Gujarat STEM Quiz 2.0

KDARFS students, Anshu Pareek and Akshu Pareek both students of Class 10, won accolades for the school by winning the State –level Gujarat STEM Quiz 2.0 organized by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology. The quiz comprised of questions from the fields namely Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) and was conducted for students from Classes 9 to 12 from all over the country. At the state-level quiz which was organized in the Science City, Ahmedabad, Anshu Pareek stood first and Akshu Pareek stood third and they both were felicitated by the Director of GUJCOST. The prizes included a Samsung Galaxy A7 tablet and a telescope alongwith trophies and certificates.to. Along with these rewards the students were even awarded with trophies and certificates. The state-level winners made their way to the national-level quiz which was also organized in the Science City, Ahmedabad. At the national level, Anshu Pareek and Akshu Pareek both qualified for the semi-finals and were awarded Robotic kits and certificates.

Gujarat Environment Management Institute had organized an online contest, on the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June. Drashti Shah of 4G participated in the category of Reel making that is (REEL it to BEAT it) and bagged the 2nd prize.

KDARFS team consisting of Vibhudutt Nayak and Harsh Panara, both of Class 10 have secured the First runner-up position in the State-level round of the Fit India Quiz 2023. Their superlative performance has won them a cash prize of Rs.10,000/- each. The school has been conferred with a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000/-.

SOF International General Knowledge Olympiad (2022-23)

It was a proud moment for KDARFS when Nysha Sahu of Class 6 stood first in the International Level in the prestigious International General Knowledge Olympiad (2022-23) conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation. Her performance is all the more noteworthy as the Olympiad saw participation of thousands of students from 70,000 schools spread over 70 countries. She was felicitated in the presence of Mr,Mahabir Singh, Founder-Director SOF at the hands of Hon,Justice Deepak Mishra, former Chief Justice, Supreme Court of India. Way to go, Nysha!!!!

KDARFS students brought laurels for the school when the won prizes in events like Fire Safety Talk and Essay writing Competition organized by RIL Jamnagar as a part of Fire Safety Week Celebrations.

Achievement in Unified International English Olympiad 22-23

Aaradhya Pandey of Class 4 secured 1st Rank at the Zone level in Unified International English Olympiad 22-23. She also secured 29th rank in National Cyber Olympiad at the National level and received a medal and certificate.
